SRINAGAR, Aug 15: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah hosted At Home on Independence Day at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) here this evening.
Besides governor, N N Vohra and Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah prominent among those who attended the At Home were Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather, Law and Parliamentary Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar, Minister for Tourism Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister of State for Home, Nasir Aslam Wani, Speaker Legislative Assembly Mohammad Akbar Lone, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Devander Rana, some Legislators, Judges of the High Court, Chief Information Commissioner, Chief Secretary, Madhav Lal DGP, Ashok Prasad, various Administrative Secretaries, senior civil and police officers and some prominent citizens.
The Chief Minister interacted with the guests and exchanged Independence Day greetings and best wishes.
While, Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand hosted At Home at Jammu which was attended by Legislators, prominent citizens, representatives of various business and social organizations besides Heads of various departments.
