JAMMU, June 26: DIG Udhampur-Reasi range Surinder Gupta today conducted surprise visit of Mahore and Arnas police stations and police posts falling under their jurisdictions in Reasi district to review working of the police department.
He was accompanied by SSP Reasi Sujit Kumar.
Reports said Gupta inspected working of Mahore and Arnas police stations and police posts and inter-acted with police officers. He assessed law and order situation in the areas and called upon the police personnel to keep strict vigil on anti-national elements even though there was negligible presence of militants and Over Ground Workers in the area.
He inspected functioning of the police stations including progress in investigations of the FIRs registered there.
