‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ to focus on fatherhood: James Gunn

LONDON, June 29:  Director James Gunn has claimed “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” will be more emotional than the first film.
In the sequel to the Marvel hit, the emphasises will be on some of the characters and the film will focus on fatherhood, reported Digital Spy.
“It’s both a bigger movie and a smaller movie because we focus more intensely on some of the characters. We get to learn a lot more about fathers in the second movie, and we focus a lot on that,” he said.
Gunn, 44, completed the first draft of the sequel earlier in June.
“Guardians of the Galaxy 2”, once again starring “Jurrasic World” star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper, begins filming in February 2016.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres in May, 2017. (PTI)
