RAJOURI, June 30: A BSF spokesman has clarified that Constable T Parsad, who attempted suicide in Rajouri area belonged to 88 battalion of BSF and not 80 battalion.
Clarifying the report appeared in a section of press, a BSF spokesman said that Constable T Parsad who made suicide bid by slitting his throat belongs to 88 Bn and not 80 Bn as reported. He said that a court of inquiry has been ordered by the senior officers of the 93 Infantry Brigade, under whose command the soldier was deployed near the LoC.
