Labourer found hanging in plywood factory

JAMMU, June 30: The dead body of a labourer from Jharkhand was found hanging today in the premises of a plywood factory in Barnai area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the deceased labourer has been identified as Darshan (30) son of Nanu, a resident of Jharkhand. Presently, he was working and living in the Anil Plywood factory, from where his dead body was found hanging this afternoon.
He said that the deceased labourer might have died two-three days back, as it has started emitting foul smell.
On getting information Domana police reached the spot and shifted the dead body of the labourer in the mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where the postmortem will be conducted tomorrow after their family members reach here from Jharkhand.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at police station Domana in this regard.
