BHADERWAH, July 1: A youth was crushed to death by a bus at Galginder, Pranoo, here.
As per police sources, a youth identified as Sunil Singh, son of Ishar Singh of Bag Thathri was killed when the bike (JK06-4041) he was riding collided with a bus bearing registration number JK02BA-4977 near Galginder, Pranoo.
The youth was overtaking the bus, when he lost control over the steering of the motorcycle and got struck to the rear tyre of the bus resulting into his on the spot death.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to District Hospital (DH) Doda, where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Bhalla police has taken cognizance in this regard.
