POONCH/MENDHAR, July 1: The fruit and vegetable traders shut down their establishments and held protest against the local administration for issuing new rate lists of the commodities.
The traders of Poonch city and also in Mendhar lodged their strong protest and alleged that the rate lists of fruits and vegetables are unsuitable and they are being made to sell goods at too low rates. They said that they are unable to sell fresh vegetables and fruits at loss.
They said that all the traders would continue their shutdown and protest till the rates given are revised. Meanwhile, with the protest and strike of the fruit and vegetable vendors the people are suffering. They have appealed the administration to make arrangements for fresh vegetables and fruits.
