SRINAGAR, July 3: Police arrested four gamblers and recovered stake money of rupees five thousand in Nowgam area of city outskirts here.
A police spokesman said that the gamblers were arrested in a raid after receiving specific information. “All of them have been taken into custody and a case has been registered against them,” the spokesman said.
Besides stake money, a pack of playing cards was also recovered from the gamblers, the spokesman added.
