Chari Mubarak reaches ‘Kailash Kund’

BHADERWAH, Aug 16: The Chari Mubarak which left from Vasuki Nag temple (Gatha) Bhaderwah in district Doda, reached Kailash Kund, the snow bound lake, above Seoj Dhar of  Himalyan ranges.
A large number of devotees took bath in the holy icy lake. It is believed that by  taking bath in this icy-cold water of this kund, many diseases are cured. Kailash Kund is nearly 14 kms from Bhaderwah town.
Over 25,000 devotees from Ramnagar, Dudu-Basantgarh, Udhampur, Kathua, Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Jammu and several other parts of the State and adjoining Himachal  took part in this annual pilgimage. A grand langar was organized by Kailash Sewa Sangh Bhaderwah and Annapurna Langar for the devotees at the lake site.
