JAMMU, July 4: Three youth including two girls today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in city and its outskirts.
According to police sources, a young girl namely Vidushi Bala (24) daughter of Vinod Kumar, a resident of Bakshi Nagar and another girl identified as Manu Sharma, daughter of Romesh Sharma, a resident of Kanachak, today consumed some poisonous substance at their respective residences following which they were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for treatment.
Similarly, a young man namely Ajay Kumar Goswami (22) son of Santosh Goswami, a resident of Trikuta Nagar, also tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence. He was also shifted to GMCH by the family members.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
