DNWC discusses demands

JAMMU, July 4: A meeting of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC)was held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina, president of the committee.
In the meeting, residents expressed concern over the rough and tough condition of roads and by-lanes. They said that people are facing lot of difficulties to run their vehicles on these roads and lanes and have spoiled their vehicles.
The residents of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee has appealed the Minister R and B to executive the tender work immediately before starting of monsoon, otherwise the connectivity of roads gets cut off.
Raina also disclosed that earlier committee has met vice Chairman JDA and apprised the lighting problems of the park. The committee had met Municipal Commissioner also for executing the work of drains and lanes.
