SAMBA, July 4: A 31-year-old woman from Karaliyan village of Ramgarh in Samba, died after consuming some poisonous substance mistakenly today.
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Mamta Devi (31) wife of Mangal Singh of Karaliyan village allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence following which the family members shifted her to a nearby Sub District Hospital, Ramgarh from where in view of her serious condition, the doctors shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu. However, she expired during treatment, he added.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
