JAMMU, July 5: The Director School Education Kashmir has reconstituted the Managing Committee of DAV Public Secondary School Srinagar.
T K Ganjoo will continue to be its president cum Chairman while Shagufta Haqani be the Principal of the School has also been inducted in the Managing Committee. Divender Koul will be the general secretary, R K Koul as joint secretary and Prof Anil Kumar will be advisor.
Besides, Dr M K Mam, Khem Lata Dhar, P L Raina, Yudhvir Sethi, Ashok Koul, Dr Lalit Kachroo, S Surinder Singh and Surinder Ambardar MLC will be as members.
Veena Varikoo staff member will represent primary wing of the School in the Committee while Hilal Ahmed Bakal will be staff representative in the Managing Committee.
It may be recalled that the Minister of State for Education and Culture Priya Sethi took keen interest in restoring the institute to its pristine glory and assured the managing committee during her recent visit to the institute that Government will remove all bottlenecks and hurdles which are being created in the progress of this prestigious institute of the State.
She had assured all cooperation from Government to management Committee in restoring the pristine glory of the School and making it an institution of excellence not only in the State but in entire country.
The management of the institute complimented the MoS Education as well as Minister of Education Nayeem Akhtar for their positive approach towards this education institute which has played a remarkable roll in education sector of the State for decades together.
