RAMNAGAR, July 5: BJP unit Ramnagar under the leadership of MLA R S Pathania today organised a sensitization- cum- training programme for party workers of the Ramnagar Assembly constituency at local town hall, wherein they were asked to publicize all the flagship schemes, initiatives launched by Modi Government for the welfare of the masses.
Addressing party workers on the occasion, Mr Pathania exhorted upon the party workers to publicise and popularise the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Sukanya Samridhi Yojana (Girl Child Prosperity Scheme), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), Atal Pension Yojana, and other social security initiatives of the Modi Government in such a way that every household in Ramnagar come to possess a Bank account within a period of six month from now.
He called upon the party workers to educate the rural population about these social welfare schemes in such a way that they are motivated to register themselves and avail of these land mark initiatives and schemes. Mr Pathania informed the people that in the recent meeting of District Development Board (DDB) at Udhampur decisions have been taken regarding setting up of a micro hydro project/ check dam at Ujjh with water use for electricity/ irrigation/ drinking water/fisheries, ITI college at Ramnagar, Conference Hall at Ramnagar, direct motorable bridge from Majalta Morh to Majalta, direct road from Railway Station to Tawi bridge, immediate start of work on improvement/repair of Roun-Ramnagar Road and completion of Tawi bridge, Manwal -Pinger Road, Ramnagar to Basantgarh road, immediate completion of Siameri bridge, Tourist Sarai at Ponara, receiving station at Sunal (Majalta), tube well for Ramnagar town, Trout Rearing Project for Dudu- Basantgarh, Industrial Estates for Ramnagar/ Majalta, Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Ramnagar, buildings for Sheep Centres at Jofar, Seogli, Majalta, Development of Raja Ram Singh Stadium by J&K Sports Council, Modernisation of Ramnagar Hospital & PHC Majalta. J K Bank shall make amusement park with lights & sounds outside Ramnagar fort & JK Bank branches at Kalwanta and Chowki.
