E-tendering

Sir,
It is a known fact that there are lot of irregularities , alleged in most of the PWD works allotted. The quality of construction goes to back burner right from the moment a tender is passed. It is usually alleged that hefty commissions are paid by the beneficiary contractors in the offices mainly to the authorities accepting tenders and allotting work. The story does not end here. When bills are passed which are submitted in phases, then again good quality of fixed Chai Pani has to be offered. The contractor manages it all from where it should have been spent for public..That is why cases like Paloura water tank comes crashing in and black topping of roads gets washed out by just one small rain are to be seen.
To overcome this , the State Government must adopt the E- Tender system as prevalent in Gujarat and M.P states . More of it can be experienced from such states to eradicate massive corruption . Testing laboratories in each district must be increased to test the quality of roads construction and other  constructions. Other checks and balances must be put into the system so that the “left over money” remains of somewhat measure to have some construction erected to last a few years.
Yours etc ……
