BD protests against stone pelting on yatris

JAMMU, July 6: Bajrang Dal today staged a protest demonstration in front of Press Club here against the stone pelting on Amarnath yatris near Kangan on Saturday.
The protestors raising slogans against the State administration demanded fool proof security to pilgrims.
The protest was led by Rakesh Sharma senior leader of BD and it was among others addressed by Kartik Sudan and Rajesh Bhasin. They said that the stone pelting on innocent yatris is a shameful act and the Government should arrest the people involved in the same.
They also expressed serious concern over the harassment meted to yatris during their registration at Jammu and other places and demanded enhancement of registration quota.
Meanwhile Ram Sena chief Rajiv Mahajan has also strongly condemned the attack on Amarnath pilgrims and said this action shows the frustration on part of the people responsible for these acts.
He urged the Government to provide fool proof security to yatris and take action against the culprits hell bent to disturb the peace in the State.
