6-day orientation training program begins at SIE

JAMMU, July 6: A six-day orientation program for Principals and Headmasters of district Udhampur on ‘Educational Management and Financial Management’ begun at State Institute of Education (SIE), here today.
The program was organized by Planning and Management Wing of SIE and started today under the able guidance of HR Pakhroo, Joint Director (Trgs) and Principal, SIE, Jammu.
The progarmme is aimed at equipping the Head of the Institutions with the necessary managerial, professional, administrative skills, leadership aptitudes and knowledge to handle accounts and thus enhancing the standard of their programme.
The programme was inaugurated by Saif Ali Chouhan, Joint Director, Directorate of School Education Jammu, who was the chief guest. He interacted with the participants and laid stress on organizing more such programmes in this field for all level of officers working in Education Department.
Earlier, Saroop Kumar Raina, Senior Field advisor and Chief Coordinator, of the programme, presented welcome address and exhorted the participants to cultivate managerial and administrative skills for best deliverance and work constantly towards improving their institutional climate, culture and conditions and focus on best academic, physical social and administrative environment of the institution.
The proceedings of the stage were conducted by SK Gouria and Alka Sharma, Research Officers of the Institute while the logistics support was provided by Parvaiz Bhat, Imran Bukhari, Tapasaya Sharma, Kailash Kotwal and Akash Khajuria.
