2 boys rescued in Kargil

SRINAGAR, July 7: Police along with State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rescued two stranded boys from Sher Bagh Baroo Park in mountainous district of Kargil on Monday.
Two boys identified as Hassainan and Imtiyaz, who are both class 11 students, were stranded after they had gone to Sher Bagh Baroo when the water level suddenly increased, a police spokesman said.
He said after being informed, a police team and reached on the spot along with the SDRF and started the rescue operation. “The rescue operation continued throughout the night and the stranded boys were rescued,” he said.
