JAMMU, July 8: Crime Branch, Jammu today arrested a cheat who was duping innocent people of their hard earned money by alluring them of providing Government jobs or sending them abroad.
The accused, namely Malikzada Mohd Shehazad of Dharal Malan Rajouri, was involved in case FIR number 19/2015 under Section 420, 120-B RPC of Police Station Crime Branch, Jammu and had been evading his arrest.
The case was registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by one Veena Sotra, wife of Neelu Sotra of Christian Colony, Jammu alleging therein that accused person had allured her and took Rs 2.80 lakh for sending her son abroad for higher studies. Meanwhile, after registration of instant case, more persons approached the Crime Branch, Jammu with their complaints against Malikzada Mohd Shehazad and they alleged that he took money from them in lieu of providing employment in Govt Departments.
