*Shut-down in many areas

JAMMU, July 9:As per the message received from Power System Corporation Ltd. New Delhi, due to increased discharge at pond in NJPC and slit levels, there will be closure of 1605 MW plant at NJPC and outage of Rampur on 9th of July from 11.45 hrs, there will be shortfall of 50 MW power.
In order to maintain drawal as per the schedule, the Power Development Department may enforce rotational curtailment in Jammu province.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the work of laying of HT cable on 11 KV JDA-3, 5 and 8 feeders by M/s IRCON under R-APDRP works, the power supply to Trikuta Nagar Sector 4, 5, 6, 7,8 and 9, part of Bahu Plaza, Reserve Bank of India, Sarswati Dham at its adjoining areas will remain affected on July 11, 2015 from 6 am to 11 am.
Similarly, in order to complete balance work of jumpering of 132 KV line bay for RTSS Samba under DC work railway at 132/66 Grid Station Samba, the power supply to Samba Town, Industrial Area, Bari-Brahmana, Ghagwal, Vijaypur and adjoining areas will remain affected on July 12, 2015 from 6 a m to 10 a m.
However, the power supply to Grid Station, Bari Brahmana-II will be met from Gladni Grid Station during the shutdown period.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out urgent and preventive maintenance of 11 KV RC-1, RC-3, RC-5, RC-6, N-1, N-2, N-8, N-3, N-6, N-11, N-12, N-9, JDA-5, TRN-1, TRN-3, TRN-2, JDA-5, CH-3, CH-4, CH-7, CH-8, JDA-2, JDA-4, JDA-7, TPN-1, TPN-3, TPN-4, TPN-5, SC-1, SC-2, SC-3, SC-4 and CH-4 feeders, the power supply will remain affected in Green Belt, A/D Block, B/D Block on July 11,12, B/C Block, D/C Block, C/C Block, A/B Block Gandhi Nagar, Apsara Road on July 13,14 Shivaji Chowk, Extn Gandhi Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Rampura etc. on July 15,16, Nanak Nagar on July 17,18, Shastri Nagar & Trikuta Nagar on July 19,20, Trikuta Nagar on July 21,22, Sec-1, Sec-2, Bhalla Colony, Police Line etc, Sec-3, Sec-4, Sec-5 & Deeli on July 23, Railhead Complex on July 26, Railhead Complex on July 27, PHE and Narwal on July 28, Transport Yard, Fruit Mandi and Channi Rama on July 29, Sainik Colony on July 30 besides Beli Charana and Ware House on July 31, 2015 from 6 am to 11 am.
