3 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, July 11: Three persons including a non-local were injured in separate road accidents in Kashmir Valley, police said today.
A police spokesman said a Tata vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Nayeem-ul-Haq of Bihar at Tarigam in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Tipper skidded off the road at Chontiwari Bala in Machil area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara. “In this accident, the driver of the vehicle got injured and was shifted to sub-district Hospital Kupwara for treatment.
Meanwhile, a car hit a motorcycle in Amargarh area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. In the accident, the motorcyclist, Yasir Shamim, sustained injuries and was shifted hospital for treatment, police said.
