JAMMU, July 11: An aged couple and their young son were injured in the collision of a tempo and a car at Swara Morh in Chowki Choura area of Tehsil Akhnoor.
According to a police spokesperson, Jiya Lal (56) son of Khoju Ram, a resident of Udeywala (Jammu) along with his wife, Neema Devi (55) and Son Kamal Singh (26), was on his way to Rajouri to Jammu in his car bearing registration number (JK02A-3337) when a tempo coming from opposite side collided head on with it.
The mishap occurred this afternoon and in the mishap all the three occupants of the car received injuries. They were shifted to a nearby hospital in Chowki Choura from where later they were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where their condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
