MENDAHR, July 11: The members of Beopar Mandal Mendhar held protest demonstration against the local administration for failure to lift garbage heaps in the main market and ensure proper drainage system in the main market.
The traders/ shopkeepers led by Beopar Mandal president came out on the main road here and started protest demonstration against the Tehsildar/SDM and RDD and Panchayat authorities. They said that traders are paying all the taxes but the local authorities have failed to ensure cleanliness in the town. The heaps of garbage scattered all around are giving foul smell, the drains have choked and rain and flood water is entering into their shops destroying their goods. They warned the authorities to clear the garbage otherwise they would Gherao the Tehsildar and BDO.
