PM leaves for Tajikistan

BISHKEK (KYRGYZSTAN):
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today headed for Tajikistan, the last of the five Central Asian countries he visited during this trip.
During his two-day meeting, he will call on Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon and discuss ways to strengthen Defence and Economic cooperation.
As in Krygyzstan, he will be gifting medicines for the India-Tajikistan Friendship Hospital and unveil the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore’s statue.
The last visit by an Indian PM was by Atal Bihari Vajpayee in November, 2003. He will leave for home on July 13. (AGENCIES)
