UDHAMPUR, July 15: Shri Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Pingla Mata Udhampur organized annual Akhand Jyoti-cum-procession of Pingla Mata, which was taken out from Pandav Mandir, here today.
The impressive and colourful Shobha Yatra   comprised of tableaus depicting various adobes of Mahamaya and religious dances by various artists. It   passed through various locations of the town, such as Hospital road, Saillan Talab, Chabutra Bazaar, Main Bazaar, Gole Market, Mukerjee Bazaar, Ramnagar Chowk, Salathia Chowk and culminated at the starting point.
A large number of devotees of Mata Pingla participated in the Shobha Yatra with great enthusiasm and religious gaiety.  MoS Finance &IT, Pawan Gupta also participated in the possession. Security and other necessary arrangements were made by police and civil administation during the Shobha Yatra.
President Shri Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Ashok Kumar Gupta said that the Sanstha was organizing 8th Pingla Mata Akhand Jyoti Yatra as an annual feature. He informed that the sacred lamp and Trident would remain at Pandav Mandir today and will be carried to the Cave Shrine of Pingla Mata on July 16 morning in a procession of devotees.
The president said that the Sanstha has managed free bus services for the devotees like every year from Udhampur to the pilgrimage point on July 16 and urged the people to participate in large to perform the pilgrimage for seeking blessing of the Goddess. He said that free langar facility would also be provided by the Sanstha at the cave shrine with all out support of the Sarpanch of the village Pinger,   Mulkh Raj Gupta.
Among others, chairman Baba Puran Nath, vice president, Ajay Gudda, Manik Shah, Ankush Gupta, general secretary, organizers,   members of the Sanstha and large number of people participated in the Shobha Yatra.
