MLA Ramban distributes 200 solar lights

RAMBAN, July 18: Continuing his development process in rural areas in Ramban constituency, MLA Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh distributed 200 numbers of solar lights among the beneficiaries of six Panchyats belonging to Ramban and Rajgarh blocks at community hall Maitra.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ramban appreciated the Department of Science and Technology for providing solar lights a basic facility to habitants of un-electrified areas and said that these solar lights are going to benefit people in those areas which are not covered under other schemes.
He further said that a total 2400 numbers of solar lights being distributed in two blocks as well as wind mill energy will complement the hydro electrical energy in fulfilling electricity requirement, especially in rural and backward areas. Apart from other district level officers, PRIs and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
People present on the occasion apprised MLA of their demands.
