JAMMU, July 18: A 25 year old woman who allegedly tried to end her life on Friday by consuming some poisonous substance, at her residence in Bhambla area of Reasi district, today passed away at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Shakuntla Devi (25) wife of Rashpal, a resident of Bhambla in Reasi district had allegedly tried to kill her by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence on Friday.
The woman in serious condition was shifted to GMCH Jammu, where he expired this afternoon.
