JAMMU, July 21: An accident victim today succumbed to his injuries in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Ashok Kumar (28) son of Dev Raj, a resident of Channi in Udhampur, who was injured in a road accident at Dhar Road, reached here at GMCH at about 5 am this morning after being referred from an Udhampur hospital. However, after few hours he succumbed to his injuries.
After conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has also taken cognizance of the matter.
