NEW DELHI, July 22: Refined soya oil prices were down 0.29 per cent to Rs 576.30 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants reduced positions, triggered by adequate stocks at spot market.
At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August declined by Rs 1.65, or 0.29 per cent to Rs 576.30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,67,295 lots.
In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in far-month October traded lower by Rs 1.35, or 0.24 per cent to Rs 562.85 per 10 kg in 88,960 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants amid fall in demand in the spot market against adequate stocks mainly weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
