Don’t trust BJP: Manohar Lal

JAMMU, July 22: Terming the PDP-BJP coalition a failure, former minister and Congress leader Manohar Lal Sharma today demanded resignation of  Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh on moral grounds.
In a press statement Manohar Lal alleged that Dr  Nirmal Singh has failed to fulfill his written commitment with AIIMS Coordination Committee over establishment of AIIMS in Jammu region. While taking a jibe at DyCM, the Congress leader said that by reaching a written agreement with the AIIMS Coordination Committee (ACC) over establishment of the AIIMS in Jammu region before or by July, 20 and then failing  to fulfill the same, Nirmal Singh has authenticated that he has no say in his party both at State as Central level.
The  Congress leader further said that in the days to come, people will have no faith over the written assurances of the politicians, be it in any party and the “Nirmal Singh episode” will be taken as a reference to describe the politicians in general.
“Who will trust politicians and their assurances in the days to come? ” Mr Sharma said
He alleged that the BJP is playing blunder after blunder whether in Centre or in State, but yet claims to be a  party with a difference. Mr Sharma sought to know what kind of change the BJP leadership has brought in Jammu region.
He appealed the people of Jammu region to get united against the nefarious designs of BJP and fight for the cause of Jammu region.
