SRINAGAR, July 24: Three IAS Probationers of the 2014-16 Batch, who have been allotted to the Jammu and Kashmir Cadre, called on Governor N. N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The group of IAS Probationers comprised Doifode Sagar Dattatray, Owais Ahmed, and Rahul Yadav.
The Governor advised the Probationers to make the best use of their ongoing training programme in the State and gain a close understanding of the many serious problems which are faced by the ordinary people, particularly those living in the remote and difficult areas.
He advised the young officers to learn to live honestly and with austerity and maintain the highest levels of probity, integrity and complete dedication to the efficient discharge of their responsibilities. He also advised them to lose no time in learning the State and local languages, which would enable them to gain first hand understanding of the challenges faced by the people at large.
