JAMMU, July 24: “My election to Vice Chairman (VC) of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank Limited (JCCBL) is not linked to politics”.
This was stated by Nand Kishore Sharma, newly elected VC of JCCBL during a press conference here today.
He hit hard on the rumor regarding political support related to his election as VC of JCCBL and added that he has been elected as VC during Board of Directors meet of the Bank, which was held recently under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh and was attended by all the Directors namely Lal Chand, Mohan Lal Sharma, Altaf Ahmed Hazi, Kasim and Angrez Ram.
Sharma disclosed that he is elected Director of JCCBL since 2008 after proper election as per the constitution of Bank and there was not any possibility of political interference in the election process of the Bank.
“My election as VC is followed by rules mentioned in the constitution of JCCBL”, he added.
