JAMMU, July 24: A man from Narot district of Pathankot in Punjab succumbed to his burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, on July 13 the deceased was shifted for treatment in GMCH Jammu after he received serious burn injuries due to stove blast at his residence in Narot district of Pathankot. However, the victim succumbed to his injuries during the intervening night of July 23 and 24.
After conducting post mortem the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. The Punjab police have been informed about the incident.
