NEW DELHI, July 24: The write-ups of a Jammu based scholar Kamini Gupta have been selected at a national level competition, which may eventually become part of the NCERT books prescribed for several courses.
Kamini Gupta is the only writer from Jammu and Kashmir who has been selected along with 58 others from all over the country in the competition. For her inspiring writings, she has bagged the coveted ‘Bhasha Shadhori Award’.
Member Parliament, Dr Udit Raj presented a copy of the selected writings, Sahodri Sopan, to all the selected writers including Kamini Gupta. The high profile ceremony was attended by prominent scholars including 50 writers of the country. The book carries the write-ups of Kamini Gupta also.
Dr Udit Raj complimented Kamini Gupta for her illustrious work.
