10-day teacher training workshop concludes

JAMMU, July 24: Ten days teacher training workshop organized by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti, Ambphalla, concluded today.
The closing ceremony was held in the auditorium of school, on this occasion MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma was the chief guest. Jagdish Kalavatia, vice president Vidya Bharti, North zone presided over the function.
Pradip Kumar, organizing secretary was the main speaker, who said that Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti is running 37 schools from pre-primary level to Secondary level in Jammu and Ladakh province of J&K with active and moral support of Vidya Bharti and people living in and around.
Samir Saproo, office secretary and in charge of the orientation workshop presented the welcome address. In this programme 35 selected teachers from eleven Vidya Mandris schools of Kishtwar, Doda, Bhaderwah, Ramban, Udhampur Reasi, Billawar, Basoli and Jammu city were given special training on spoken English, Vedic Moral Science, Hindi, S.ST and other subjects.
Dr Upendra Shastri from Delhi, Harsh Kumar from Vidya Bharti Jalandhar, Gopal Krishan, Vidic Mathematics expert from Manali Himachal, Des Raj Sharma, Principal SVM senior Secondary School Talwara, G K Sharma, Professor of English and expert of Phonetics, Ram Kumar Sharma, Rtd Principal, K V Sangathan, Vijay Tripathi, Naresh Singh, Ramjan Bajaj. All the trainees highlighted their experience and wished to join such programmes again in future as and when to be conducted by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti.
On the occasion, Ram Lal Sharma, working president, Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti, I D Sony, Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides and members of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti were present.
