10 pilgrims injured as minibus turns turtle

REASI, July 24: Ten pilgrims from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, were seriously injured when a minibus on its way from Katra to Shiv Khori turned turtle on the road while taking a turn at Maadi near Pouni, here today.
The injured pilgrims were rushed to PHC Pouni where five of them were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
The minibus, bearing registration number JK02AG-7874, was carrying 27 pilgrims and a number of them sustained injuries.
The injured, who were shifted to GMC Jammu, were identified as Khushi Shukla (5) daughter of Surendra Shukla, Asha Verma (38) wife of Anupam Verma, Manoj Mishra (45), son of Sham Lal Mishra, his wife Seema Mishra and their 11-year old son Manas Mishra.
The other injured, shifted to PHC Pouni, were identified as Neelam Mishra (55), wife of Hari Krishan Mishra , Sandeep Shrivastav (40), son of Kailash Shrivastav, Abhishek (10) son of Rajendra Prasad, Rajendra Prasad (40), son of Laxmi Narayan Prasad and Shalendra (36), son of Laxman Swarup.
The other pilgrims with minor injuries, were discharged after first aid.
