AAI signs MOA with CIDC for skill development

NEW DELHI, July 24: Airports Authority of India (AAI) has executed a Memorandum of Agreement with Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) for skill development and training with the aim to develop the rightful skill for the youth. Under the project, AAI will invest a sum of Rs 3.94 crores during the year 2015-16 in partnership with CIDC under its CSR initiative to train 1000 youth from the under privileged sections of the society. CIDC will also ensure placement of the candidates after successful completion of the training.
Under the leadership of R K Srivastava, Chairman, AAI, the Skill Development project has been launched to fulfill the responsibilities towards communities and commitment to all its stakeholders, who include local communities and the society at large.
