JAMMU, July 24: Normalcy returned to Rajouri town today as authorities lifted day curfew and no untoward incident was reported from any part of the town.
Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri Deepti Uppal told the Excelsior that the administration initially gave relaxation in curfew for three hours from 9 am to 12 noon but subsequently extended it up to 8 pm as no untoward incident was reported during the relaxation period.
She said night curfew would remain in force as preventive measure.
Curfew was imposed within Municipal limits of Rajouri town on Tuesday following protests by the people against alleged sacrilegious act.
