Purmandal, July 25: A tailoring centre was opened in the village Barakhater by Lupin foundation, a subsidiary of Lupin Limited renowned pharmaceutical giant, today.
Abhinav Vasal, finance manager inaugurated the CSR program. During this program, Vasal also interact with needy village ladies, who are going to be benefited by this CSR activity. During the interaction with villagers and member of Panchayat Committee of Sadral village (Anandpur Panchayat), Lupin officials also assured that such CSR activities will be taken up on periodic basis throughout the year for the welfare of poor and needy people in particular and rural community in general.
Abhinav Vasal, finance manager, Satish Saraf and Kush Kumarwho spearheaded this activity, also said that Lupin Human Welfare and Research Foundation, Jammu has also undertaken a number of other CSR activities in three villages of Samba district.
Lupin Foundation has so far covered 529 families out of which 197 falls below poverty line. Selection of village in the district has been done on parameters such as percentage of BPL families, ST and SC families. Till date four schools and three Aganwadi centers have been benefited with our services. Lupin Foundation has also adopted one primary school of Barakhater Purmandal.
