SRINAGAR, July 25: Governor N.N. Vohra, met this year’s Civil Services qualifiers, along with a number of young IAS and IPS officers who are already serving in J&K, at a Reception hosted by him at the Raj Bhavan.
This year’s successful candidates included Baseer-ul Haq; Pryati Sharma; Afaq Ahmad Giri; Choudhary Mohammad Yasin; Irfan Hafiz; Deeba Farhat; Athar Aamirul Shafi Khan; Ankit Kaul; and Kannav Sharma.
Young IAS and IPS officers who are already serving in the State, who participated, included Dr. Shah Faesal, DC Bandipore; Neeraj Kumar, DC, Pulwama; Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Joint Director, School Education, Kashmir; Tejinder Singh, SSP Pulwama; Imtiaz Parray, SP Ganderbal; and Shailendra Mishra, SP Traffic Rural.
In his interaction with the selected officers, the Governor appreciated their hard work and achievements and congratulated them on their prestigious entry into the various Central and All India Services. He urged them to work, from the very first day of their service, with honesty and total dedication for advancing the welfare of the people they are called upon to serve.
He advised them to closely acquaint themselves with the varied challenges they would require to handle on the completion of their training courses. He strongly advised them to work with complete honesty and devotion and provide clean and efficient services for promoting the welfare of all our people. He wished all of them bright careers ahead.
