LONDON, July 26: Theatre and TV actress Kristin Chenoweth received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on her birthday.
The 47-year-old Emmy Award-winning actress is the 2,555th person to be given a spot on the iconic Hollywood sidewalk, reported Digital Spy.
“I don’t think I’ve ever had a better gift, I never thought I would have a star on the Walk of Fame so for it to happen on my birthday is very special. This is a memory I will have for as long as I remain on this earth,” she said.
One of the most popular faces of theatre, Chenoweth originated the role of Glinda in Broadway musical “Wicked”.
She also won Tony Award for her performance of Sally Brown in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” on Broadway in 1999.
