JAMMU, July 26: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum was held at Exhibition Ground Jammu today under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma and Provincial president Rajesh Jamwal. The meeting was attended by the State Executive members as well as the Distt. representatives.
While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma demanded the regularization of ReTs Teachers who have completed their 5 years satisfactory service and waiting their regularization since last year. He said that they welcome the step of verification of documents but at the same time they can’t bear the harassment in the name of verification. He appealed the Directorate of School Education Jammu that regularization process and verification should go simultaneously and if any body is found of possessing fake degree, the guilty may be terminated. Genuine degree holders should not be harassed any more as verification must be done after regularization
He also appealed the Director to intervene personally as in some zones of Samba, salary of 3rd teachers has not been released till date inspite of the fact that same was credited in to CEOs a/c before Eid.
He also appealed the Education Minister and the Finance Minister to clear the pending salary of SSA. He said that Education volunteers are waiting for their pay arrears of about one year and KGBV females teachers are still waiting for their regularization even after completing successfully 5 years period.
He also demanded immediate release of Mid- Day meals, dues and honorarium of cooks for last year and this year.
