Vakil, Charak attack Congress high command

BARAMULLA, July 27: Former Congress ministers  Abdul Ghani Vakil  and Gulchain Singh Charak today trained guns at the Congress high command and alleged that tainted and corrupt people are ruling the roost in the State while policies of Rahul Gandhi would certainly break the party at national level.
Addressing large gathering at Baramulla today these former Congress leaders launched scathing attack on the top Congress leadership and alleged that present Congress policies are distancing youth of the State from joining main stream. They said that some corrupt and tainted people are ruling the roost in the State and causing extensive damage to the party.
Mr Vakil in his address appealed his supporters and workers to strengthen his hands so that North Kashmir could consolidate its writ in the political arena of the State. He said that under an ill- comprehended plan, leadership from North Kashmir stands deliberately destroyed by the people having vested interests in the State and Delhi as well. He said that names of tallest leaders of North Kashmir like Late Abdul Gani Lone, Gh Rasool Kar,  Muzaffar Hussain Beigh etc are few examples in this behalf. Mr Vakil reiterated that able, honest and genuine leadership was forced to stay in second line and never allowed to flourish.
Vakil said that policy of Congress high command has now turned to be disparaging because tainted and corrupt are ruling the roost in the party and criminalization has gone deep rooted now. Whosoever, forwarded genuine and good suggestions to Congress high command in respect of strengthening of party in J&K were either dumped or became favorite choice for use and  throw policy, Vakil added.
In this convention, a large number of supporters and workers of  former Minister empowered him to take a final call in respect of future course of action.
Addressing the gathering Gulchain Singh Charak lambasted Rahul Gandhi’s policy for J&K State where he allegedly installed a tainted leader to lead the party. He said Rahul is encouraging ‘yes men’ culture in the party at various levels while ignoring dedicated workers. He alleged that Rahul’s policies would break the party at national level as well. Former Minister said this party has no future under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and said he foresees imminent split in the party at the national level.
