Vibodh holds public darbar, assures good governance

RAJOURI, July 28: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Vibodh Gupta on his exclusive one day tour to Manjakote Tehsil of this border district held a public darbar along with the officers of the different departments.
During interaction between the officers and general public he passed directions to the concerning officials to redress the genuine problems of unscheduled electricity cuts, shortage of drinking water and regular transportation service in the area. He also called upon the officers to ensure the supply of ration at the Government depots so that people may get the food items on time.
Also addressing the gathering of party workers and villagers, he stressed that his Government is committed to provide a public friendly Government in all the sectors of the State and nation and under the leadership of our Prime Minister we are going in the same direction with a good pace of work.
Gupta opined that our target is to reach from the top official to the marginal man whose only requirement is the basic commodities and I assure you that the present Government both in the State and Centre are working with full commitment in this direction.
He further said that the area of Pir Panjal always remained his and his party’s priority, as if developed it can attract the tourists from all over the country. “To make this dream into reality very soon I am going to submit a proposal to the State and Central Government for sanctioning a special tourist package so that we can bring this area on the map of tourism”, he added.
