JAMMU, July 28: Gajansoo police nabbed a thief and recovered a stolen motorcycle from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Gajansoo police post laid a naka at Khayadiyan and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BH-8565.
During scrutinizing of documents, it came to fore that the motorcycle was stolen by the rider from Galwadey Chack on July 24.
Police arrested the rider on the spot, who has been identified as Bashir alias Golu.
A case under FIR Number 97/15 under Section 379 RPC has been registered against the accused at Gajansoo police post and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Gajansoo police PSI Jasvinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
