MENDHAR, July 29: A BSF Head Constable died of a fall in Jhalas area of Poonch today.
Reports said Head Constable Mohd Shamim of 62 Battalion presented deployed in Uchhad area of Mendhar had gone to his home at Jallas near Poonch on leave. He was busy in construction work of his house. Suddenly he slipped down from the top and his head was hit against a big stone. He was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him as dead. His burial took place at his home village and Guard of Honour was given by the unit personnel.
