SRINAGAR July 29: Police today said that it have challaned 13472 vehicles and seized 1952 vehicles in last two weeks of this month across the valley in its drive against traffic violators.
A police spokesman said that the vehicles, which were challenend during this period, included 3501 two wheelers and 8019 four wheelers.
“During the drive, action was taken against 3060 people for not wearing crash helmets and 5481 people who were found not wearing the seat belts,” the spokesman added.
