Law students boycott exams

JAMMU, July 31: Semester examinations in Sanskrit and Law Departments of Jammu University could not be held today due to a complete Jammu Bandh on the call of AIIMS Coordination Committee.
While the Department of Sanskrit postponed the scheduled examination of semester IV as maximum number of candidates were not able to reach at the examination centre in JU, the VI semester students of Law Department boycotted the exam in both the centres on the campus. The protesting students also claimed that some of their colleagues had not been able to reach the examination centre because of Jammu Bandh.
However, other examinations were conducted smoothly.
