One killed, 3 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Aug 1: One  person was killed while three others were injured in separate road mishaps across valley, police said today.
A police spokesman said that a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05E-2284 hit and injure a pedestrian namely Abdul Ahad Sofi at Chotabazar in north Kashmir’s Sopore Town of Baramulla district.
“The injured was shifted to the Sub District Hospital Sopore where he succumbed to his injuries. The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
The spokesman said that a tipper bearing registration number JK03B-9066 collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A-7775 near Shuhal Mills in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district resulting in injuries to motorcyclist namely Zahid Ahmad Reshi.
“The Injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the police spokesman said.
A vehicle bearing registration number JK13B-4966 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Sajad Ahmad Lone of Chandharain Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, the police spokesman said, adding, that the injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
A 9 year old girl, Aksa Manzoor was hit and injured by a tractor bearing chasis number 803505715046675N in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. “The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
