JAMMU, Aug 1: Contractors’ Association of Estate Division (CAED), Jammu today called off their 85-day long strike on the assurance of director, Estate department and XEn, Estates division, Rajesh Abrol that the Department has recommended to release 33 percent of pending bills of the contractors.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the association held here today under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh. The association said that the XEn has also assured to release 50 % of pending bills within a week.
